Offshore Field Engineers

Our operations involve delivering cased hole mechanical wireline-, tractor, powered mechanical- services as well as electric-line logging services. The scope of work will be delivered using leading edge technology and digital solutions with cross trained crews in close collaboration with our alliance partners.

Role
The Archer Field Engineer have a key role in the growth and development of Archer as a complete Well Services provider. You will be trained in the use of Archer proprietary equipment as well as commodity products and use this in new and established markets.

Reporting line
Field Engineer reports directly to the Onshore Operations Logging Supervisor.Key responsibilities

• Carry out preparation and execution of E-line work according to procedures
• Assist Clients in screening potential wells requiring intervention services
• Be involved in and ensure correct planning of operation including mobilization of correct equipment
• Evaluate and interpret data during and after logging operations. Analyze well site related problems and apply appropriate technological solution to solve them
• Maintain sufficient working knowledge of Archer proprietary equipment and commoditized well services equipment that you are required to use

What are we looking for

Education:

• Educated to degree level in relevant subject

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience performing logging operations offshore.
• Experience with relevant cased hole logging software and understanding of log interpretation is an advantage

Personal skills:

• Excellent HSE attitude
• Good IT skills
• Norwegian/English spoken and written
• Good communication skills and be have a desire to maintain a good report with the customer offshore, alliance partners and the Archer organization
