Our customer, an international engineering company, are looking for a Buying Professional.

Duration: 

• Start: 11.12.2023
• End: 31.07.2024

 
Work tasks:
• Inquire, negotiate, and order components and services for the gas turbine.
• Procurement of aftermarket spare parts for the gas turbine.
• Establishment and maintenance of suppliers in the supplier registry.
• Invoice management, deviation handling, and documentation follow-up.
• Contribute to common goals of cost reduction on purchased parts.
• Collaborate with planners, engineers, and project managers in the team.

You and your background:
• Proficient in negotiation, communication, collaboration and relationship management with external suppliers as well as internal colleagues.
• 3-5 years of operational work experience in professional procurement environment, SAP MM module, spreadsheet analysis and presentation.

Your personal traits:
• Proactive and problem-solving attitude towards work
• Willingness, adaptability and resilience to thrive in fluid and evolving work environment.

About the team:
The team in Kongsberg is a part of global procurement team within the company's Gas Turbine business. The team is locally hosted under execution department alongside project management, inside sales, demand planning and logistics teams.
