The job includes a variety of tasks in the office, kitchen and with logistics. The Employee will be part of the team that takes care of sales, customer service, and preparing the activities.
We are looking for several people to fulfill this role. The persons hired must already be based in Tromsø and with all appropriate work visas.
Main tasks
- Packing down from tours
- Preparing equipment & occasionally food for tours
- Cleaning tasks in our office, vehicles and our apartments
- Processing bookings and preparing the manifest
- Customer service and care (replying to emails and phone calls)
Required skills
- Good organizational and communication skills, structured and solution-oriented thinking
- Ability to work in a team and in a hectic work environment
- Language proficiency in English required, both oral and written
- Proficiency in the use of a computer and the web
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Premiere and Pixieset
- Equipment management and logistics
- Basic cooking and kitchen skills to be able to work in a professional kitchen
Additional desired skills
- Speaks good English
What we expect from you
We are looking for a positive and hard-working person, who will be flexible taking different tasks and work with a changing schedule. The schedule and tasks can change last minute - depending on the bookings we have as well as the environmental conditions as well as a vehicle or team member being out of action.
The winter-time is hectic period for us and the work requires ability to handle stress, to solve problems and to adapt to last-minute changes.
The person/s needs to be comfortable with changes, be comfortable with being flexible and to fit into our existing team.
The person/s need to be available and willing to work weekends and to work during Christmas.
