Procurement department at Aftermarket Spare Parts consists of 22 highly competent professionals within the purchasing discipline. We procure spare parts to external customers worldwide as well as cover intercompany demands for offshore equipment.
This position is responsible for facilitating and maintaining the purchasing process from requests for fabrication, materials and services all the way, from quote, purchase and to pay. This includes participation in all aspects of the purchasing process, across multiple NOV disciplines, for the categories assigned to the purchaser.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as point of contact for coordinating purchases of electro, materials and services for multiple NOV Spare parts customers.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to understand need requirements.
- Solicit competitive offers from qualified suppliers.
- Issue Purchase orders in accordance with internal guidelines.
- Follow up production in cooperation with internal and external partners, to secure deliveries in accordance with NOV quality requirements.
- Perform expediting when required to assure purchase order delivery schedule is met, and suppliers are meeting contractual criteria.
- Keeps PO status up to date.
- Review supplier performance regularly to ensure that all aspects of the Purchase to Pay process are properly maintained.
- Maintain adequate purchasing records.
- Monitor the PO confirmation process and ensures POs are appropriately paid and closed.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures
Technical Competencies
- Preferable technical and mechanical understanding and able to read and understand both mechanical, electrical and hydraulic drawings.
- expertise in electro and instrument disciplines
- Understanding of Oil & Gas industry.
- Microsoft Office (ex. Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Business Systems (ex. Glovia, Cognos, iProcurement, Team Center, etc.)
- Preferable working knowledge of Ex norms, zones and EU regulation IEC: EN 60034-30-1: 2014
