Sales Representative (f/m/d) Surgical Technologies – West, Middle, North Norway
As a Sales Representative (f/m/d) Surgical Technologies being responsible for West, Middle and North Norway you’ll help us deliver on our mission of making healthcare better by promoting and selling Stryker’s world-class Surgical Technologies products.
Our Surgical Technologies business is a leader in operating room equipment and support, providing an efficient and safe perioperative environment for caregivers and patients. We are known for our wide range of innovative products, from our leading waste management, surgical suction, smoke evacuation, and illuminated instruments.
In this role, you will develop strategic approaches to optimize customer service and support the acquisition of new customers through technical and economic expertise. To best manage your assigned territory, you are preferably located in Bergen, Stavanger, or Trondheim.

Your key responsibilities
· In your new role, after a familiarization phase with product trainings, you will take over sales activities in the field for your product portfolio (Neptune Waste Management System, SafeAir Smoke Evacuation system) in your territory.
· You will implement marketing and sales strategies in the sales process and conduct negotiations with surgeons, hospital administrations, medical technicians and purchasing departments.
· With the product knowledge you have built up, and your understanding of the healthcare economical aspect of our products, you advise and train surgical & theatre staff in the OR.
· You will be responsible for customer care for surgical theatre staff, hospital administration & procurement, with the goal of achieving qualitative and sales-oriented targets.
· Furthermore, you will prepare quotes for interested customers and will also be a reliable partner for our customers during order follow-up to ensure a timely delivery date and thus a high level of customer satisfaction.
· You will participate in trade fairs, congresses, and business meetings in order to find potential new customers and to expand your knowledge for customer contact.
What are we looking for?
· Proven track record in entry-level sales success, with a preference for experience in the medical devices industry, selling both capital and disposable equipment. We value a proactive attitude and a strong drive for achieving results.
· Self-education or a relevant bachelor's degree in fields like medical technology, health management, or business administration is advantageous but not mandatory.
· Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at various hierarchy levels.
· Demonstrated capability in leading high-level discussions and negotiations with hospital stakeholders, including experience in making economic arguments and participating in market access activities.
· Strong enthusiasm for medical technology is a plus, and a commitment to selling innovative products with top-notch customer service.
· Proficiency in networking, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to collaborate as part of a team. A valid driver's license and proficiency in English and Norwegian are also required.

Additional Information
· Travel activity can be up to 80%, including occasional overnight stays at external locations.
· Depending on the scheduling of your workweek, you will spend the remaining time working from home.
