ABB is looking for a Service Coordinator for Marine & Ports Service Operations

ABB Marine & Ports Norway is expanding its team with a new position as Service Coordinator.

This position reports to Field Service Manager and will be located in our Fornebu office.

Your responsibilities

• Manage customer requirements and customer enquiries.
• Close cooperation with Global Technical Support and Field Service Manager to keep service requests updated in ABB ticket management system.
• Coordinates, plans, schedules and oversees all service jobs and requests with necessary resources, spare parts and logistics for site.
• Ad hoc problem solving in cooperation with customers, service engineers and technical support engineers.
• Create Quotations.
• Responsible for on-time invoicing.
• Cooperates and coordinates activities with other ABB units and teams to harmonize the service activities.
• Proactively seeking to find better ways of working.

Your background

• College / University (Bachelor) / Technical College within Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or other relevant education. Relevant operational experience can compensate for lack of education.
• Experience with resource planning and coordination of service jobs.
• Knowledge of ERP system (e.g. SAP).
• Experience from an operational service organization.
• Experience from and knowledge from the Marine Service Segment is an advantage.
• Must be fluent in both written and verbal English.
• Pro-active attitude.
• The ability to understand and find practical solutions to problems.
• Initiative and cooperative, ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform tasks under pressure.
