Thank you for noticing us and your interest in our available position as Product Manager. Wirescan is growing and we're looking for a dedicated, self going, fun, social, confident, commercial and technical minded resource which will work right at the interface between our technical development team and our sales and marketing team. Having the ability to understand customer needs and translating those into product or service ideas is an essential part of this position together with a thorough technical understanding of our product portfolio, both hardware and software. The Product Manager will own all activities related to everything from ordering bits and pieces for hardware production, inventory overview, packing and sending hardware to customers, product support and training, field work, and data analysis and reporting. Wirescan is right in the middle of the power cable industry. We offer our products and services to cable manufacturers, installers, owners and operators for them to reduce operational risk and have the ability to make informed decisions based on actual data from their most important assets, the power cables.

Experience from, and knowledge of, the power cable industry is wanted but not required.

So, there are a number of responsibilities that will lie within the mandate of our Product Manager. Here are a few;

• Overall product responsibility
• Production and supply chain
• Product quality
• Customer relations, technical
• Sales and marketing support
• Planning and execution of service activities
• Hardware packing and shipping
• Be primary point of contact for matters related to our products and services
• Provide technical expertise, guidance and training to customers

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in relatable role
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field
• Proficient in MS Office
• Knowledge of, and interest in, digital technologies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able and willing to learn
