We are looking for a new colleague!

Saipem Norge AS is searching for a Senior Accountant for our office in Forus outside Stavanger.

Key qualifications must as a minimum be:

Minimum 4 years’ experience within the Administrative and Accounting area of multinational structured companies (preferably from Oil&Gas business).

The ideal candidate has good knowledge and proven experience in:

-         Norwegian Accounting GAAP and practice (IFRS knowledge will be considered a plus)

-         SAP use in connection with actual manual entries and analysis

-         Altinn platform

-         Payroll posting and associated taxation (including Kontrolloppstilling, RF-1022, A07

-         Domestic VAT rules and compliance for private companies (including import VAT requirements for offshore business)

-         Company financial reporting preparation (Trial Balance, ledger cards, journal voucher)

-         Internal controls applicable to big organization (SOA, administrative responsibility)  

-         IFRS 16 principles

-         Inter-company reconciliation and accounting

-         General accounting entries, review and reconciliation activities

-         Payable accounting (medium knowledge)

-         Managerial accounting (cost center, standard tariff rates, project accounting)

-         Budgeting knowledge will be considered a plus

The person must be able to respect periodical closing deadlines in line with Management indications (especially on quarterly base).

The person has to be flexible enough in order to support also Head Office reporting requirements and Manager instructions.

The person must have a good command of Norwegian and English, both oral and written.

The person will report to the Administration Finance Control Manager.

The person will perform the duties independently, supervised by the Manager, after an initial period of hand-over.
