E3D Administrator

The E3D Administrator is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, configuration, and optimization of the E3D (Everything 3D) software application to ensure the seamless operation for various engineering disciplines within the company. The role will be a part of the project delivery systems team and be a key contributor to our project’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

System Maintenance & Support

• Maintain and update the E3D application, ensuring its optimal performance and availability.
  
• Collaborate with software vendors for troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
  
• Perform regular system backups, data recovery, and ensure data integrity.
  Configuration & Customization
  
• Customize E3D based on the requirements of different engineering disciplines within the organization.
  
• Ensure that catalogues, specifications, and templates within E3D are in accordance with the discipline´s needs.
  
• Ensure that the system is aligned with company and industry standards.
  Training & Development
  
• Organize and conduct training sessions for engineers and designers on E3D functionalities.
  
• Develop user guides, training materials, and best practice documents for E3D.
  
• Stay updated on E3D's latest features and inform the engineering team accordingly.
  Collaboration & Integration
  
• Engage with various engineering teams to gather feedback and understand their specific requirements.
  
• Integrate E3D with other software tools and systems utilized within the organization.
  Continuous Improvement
  
• Regularly solicit feedback from users to enhance the E3D experience and implement system improvements.
  
• Remain informed about industry developments and integrate relevant advancements into the E3D environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
  
• Proven experience in E3D administration or a similar role.
  
• Understanding of engineering design principles and standards.
