Business Development Manager for one of the world's leading ROV-companies

The market demands are increasing and we are looking for a Business Development Manager to enforce our  business development team.

You will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. As a BDM you will be working closely with  our team both in Norway and our other Global offices. Some travel will be required

Responsibilities

• Sales and marketing responsibility for Norway and Europe based clients.
• Developing quotes and proposals for clients
• Planning and overseeing the marketing initiatives
• Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help companies expand
• Maintain and increase value of current customers
• Attending conferences, meetings and industry events

Formal background

The ideal candidate, preferably holds a relevant master's degree, but relevant experience can compensate formal education. In addition you should have 5+ years prior industry related experience. Specific ROV or Subsea related experience is an advantage. You have to have excellent verbal and written communications skills in Norwegian and English.

Personal qualifications

To excel in this role you should be an active listener, have compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads. You should also be:

• Focused and goal-oriented
• Good cross-function collaboration skills
• Team player

You have to be able to think critically when making plans having a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy
