Jotun is looking for a Global Communications Specialist for a one-year temporary position

Jotun’s Performance Coatings Communications team are looking for a Global Communications Specialist for a one-year temporary position.  

The Performance Coatings Communications team are responsible for global communication activities targeted towards the key customer groups – energy, shipping, infrastructure and yards and applicators, planning and executing the 360 communication mix including press relations, social media, digital communication and trade fairs - supporting the Jotun network with marketing material, and regional and local communications activities.  

Responsibilities 

• Support Category and Solutions managers on the development of marketing material to maximize impact based on the target group and activity objectives. 
• Ensuring that we focus on the relevant and most impactful parts of 360 degrees communication mix. 
• Evaluate proposals and ensure a consistent tone of voice in accordance with Corporate and segment guidelines. 
• Measure the effect of external communication activities and optimize the marketing mix accordingly by using Google analytics, LinkedIn and performance data  
• Social media activity planning and execution based on social media strategy  
• Design and amend marketing material, ads etc. with support of advertising agencies  
• Assure relevant and consistent internal and external communication is per corporate guidelines, policy, segment directions, corporate identity and strategy. 
• Develop, guide and execute content development for digital platforms including Jotun.com 
• Support on event planning including sourcing give aways, planning communication activities to support event, and general event management  

Qualifications 

Ability to manage complex projects with many stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner 

Ability to prioritize and execute in a high paced environment 

Basic design skills (Adobe) not critical but welcome 

Competence in digital communication channels like Google, and social media  

Interest in global business to business marketing  

Education 

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience 

Key qualifications

• B2B experience a plus 
• English working language
