Do you have experience with marine and/or energy related insurance products, particularly pertaining to claims handling and advisory concerning clients` operational risk?

Do you want to work in a global company, whilst at the same time participate in the expansion of our local Claims department?

We are investing and are looking for a new Head of Claims and Claims Managers in Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim or Ålesund!

The successful candidates will be assisting leading operators in Norway and abroad with all types of claims negotiations and handling, and other claims-related customer assistance. The roles are based in Oslo, with the flexibility to work hybrid.

What the day will look like

• Advisory to our valued clients in Norway
• Proactive claims handling towards both clients and insurance companies, including cases of high complexity
• Negotiate good solutions with relevant insurers
• Build and further develop our client portfolio together with dedicated colleagues
• Contribute to new thinking and development of existing and new investment areas within the marine and/or energy segments
• Contract reviews in respect of marine and energy sectors, together with our local and global contractual risk management and claims advocacy team

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Higher education and/or authorization as an insurance broker.
• Experience with insurance solutions and claim settlement within marine or energy
• Experience in conducting strategic risk consulting
• A broad network of contacts in the marine or energy industry, and in-depth market knowledge
• Experience with major national and international clients within marine or energy
• Excellent collaboration skills and team orientation. Skilled at building effective relationships with clients, colleagues, insurers and other stakeholders  
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
