We are now looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our Legal Team.

Senior Legal Counsel

Legal has the overall responsibility for all legal issues within Zurich Nordic, which includes, among other things, legal advice and support to Management, Underwriting, Claims and other departments, contract drafting and negotiation, legal training and information, retaining and instructing external lawyers, litigation management and regulatory matters.

As an in-house counsel, you will work with most areas of the law, but with emphasis on insurance law (contractual and regulatory), commercial law and corporate governance.

We are looking for a candidate who have:

·       A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a legal counsel in a business environment or at a law firm

·       Preferably prior experience of working as a legal counsel in a regulated environment

·       Excellent knowledge and understanding of general corporate and commercial law matters

·       High degree of professional ethics and integrity

·       Fluent in English

·       University law degree from Norway or Denmark

The position will preferably be based in Oslo or Copenhagen, but Stockholm is also an alternative. You will report to the General Counsel.
