Physicist/Geophysicist/Engineer - Magnetometer and Gradiometer Data Processing Specialist

As the demand for these monitoring services continues to surge, we are dedicated to enhancing our geoscience team in Bergen. We are actively seeking a talented physicist, geophysicist, or engineer with proven expertise in developing magnetometry and gradiometry data processing solutions.
Role and Responsibilities:
· Developing advanced data processing routines tailored for magnetometers and gradiometers.
· Conducting precise data processing, with an emphasis on evaluating uncertainties and optimizing sensor performance.
· Collaborating closely with sensor manufacturers to stay at the forefront of state-of-the-art technology and drive further advancements.
· Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant technology trends, both internally and externally.
· Engaging in research and development initiatives aimed at optimizing sensor packages for subsea operations and enhancing data processing routines.
· Effectively reporting results and findings to clients and participating in technical and scientific forums.
Qualifications:
· A PhD or an MSc in Physics or a closely related discipline.
· A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in academia or industry, focusing on the development of processing routines and/or research and development in magnetometry and gradiometry.
· Proficiency in programming.
