System Developer/Administrator

We're looking for an individual who can manage the seamless operation of our engineering systems and software while also developing tailored solutions to enhance our project operations.

Responsibilities

Software Maintenance & Development:

• Ensure the smooth operation of engineering software, especially AVEVA.
  
• Regularly update and patch software.
  
• Develop custom plugins, scripts, or solutions to enhance functionality.
  
  Model Maintenance & Development:
  
• Manage and maintain 3D models and project-specific data.
  
• Develop tools or scripts to automate and streamline model management.
  
  System Development & Administration:
  
• Design, code, and implement project-specific systems, including custom reports and model exportation setups.
  
• Administer and configure systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  
  Model Exporting Setup & Development:
  
• Establish protocols for exporting 3D models to applications like Navisworks and Novorender.
  
• Develop custom solutions for seamless model exportation and integration.
  
  AVEVA Support & Development:
  
• Configure and oversee AVEVA setups.
  
• Provide ongoing support and develop custom solutions to enhance project operations.
  
  Integration & Development:
  
• Facilitate and develop integrations between AVEVA and our ERP-system to refine project workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  
• Proven experience in both (or either) system administration and software development, preferably in an engineering or construction environment.
  
• Proficiency with engineering software(s).
  
• Skilled in AVEVA project setup, administration, development, and support.
  
• Solid understanding of software maintenance, 3D model management, and system development.
  
• Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, exportation processes, and integration.
  
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
