Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

Our office in Verdal is now looking for a Warranty Coordinator.

What will you be doing?

• Execute Warranty Handling of Specific Claims or Groups of Claims
• Lead Warranty handling task force(s)
• Claims & Warranty interfacing with suppliers, subcontractors, and Company (Client) relating to the Claims Warranty Coordinator has responsibility for.
• The Warranty Coordinator shall lead the treatment and handling processes of individual or groups of claims within his/her professional expertise.
• As a part of the initial period, the selected candidate will undergo a 2-3 month training period in Stord before starting the position.

• Competence in finance, contracts, and procurement terms & conditions.
• IT knowledge.
• Analytical and structured mindset are personal skills that will be appreciated in this role.
• Knowledge of negotiation principles.
• Team player, with ability to motivate and encourage good attitude with collaborative skills.
• Ability to work and deliver results under pressure with high quality and seek optimum solutions in achieving overall goals.
• Communications & Presentation skills
• Ability to communicate fluently in Norwegian and English, verbally and written.
