Who we are.

IT Asset Management & Investments is responsible for the development and management of IT solutions related to DNB Wealth Management. We mainly deal with funds and investment products, and right now we are taking our old solutions up into the cloud. We are re-creating everything to maximize the utility of cloud computing. This will enable us to complete our vision about having a brand-new financial platform that will revolutionize the Norwegian market.

We are the wizards working behind the scenes challenged with the objective to delight our savings and investment customers with our tech magic. We aim to help our customers along their investment journey to achieve their financial objectives such as: pension, cabins, luxury vacation and realize their dreams!

As a data engineer you are interested in deepening your knowledge in areas such as ELT, automation, data mesh, data lake, enterprise knowledge graph, etc. You are able of designing clear concepts, which are understood by both business and IT, are self-driven and versatile, and have an agile and proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ELT processes with highly usage of automation in cloud
• Offload data to a centralized Data Lake or Snowflake
• Do transformations and build star schemas
• Work closely with business users
• Contribute on data strategy

Ideally you have the following background

We are looking for candidates with several of the following qualifications.

• You have been working with analytical solutions in the cloud. We are using AWS, but experience from other cloud vendors is also positive
• You have broad experience both designing and developing solutions from scratch
• You like coding in Python or other languages
• You are curious about new concepts such as Data Mesh, Real Time Analytics, Virtualization ++)
• You like to work closely to business users
• You have been working with Snowflake and dbt

Experience / education

• Education at university / college level, or relevant experience of sufficient scope
• Broad experience with architectural work and / or information modeling in large and complex organizations
• Knowledge within finance / banking industry is positive
• Experience with various database / storage and integration mechanisms is also positive

You communicate well in both English and Norwegian - verbally and in writing.
