NOV Process & Flow Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer. In this role you will take a key role in our process team to deliver projects within the required cost and timeline. Your role will be essential to meet the clients’ needs and you will be participating in client meetings (such as BCM, HAZOP, LOPA). You will interface with other disciplines, with vendors, and provide process engineering input to support activities in design of equipment and layout/structure of systems.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute to a good process team, assist the Process Lead to achieve the project goals to meet the client needs, within the project cost and timeline.
- The tasks typically include the following: Develop, produce or assist others process engineer in key design documents such as; Simulation, Heat & Material Balance, PFD, P&ID’s, filling up equipment and instrument DataSheets, Line sizing/list, PSV / Equipment sizing, control narrative/FDL, C&E.
- Writing technical reports and Technical Queries.
- Could be the representative in Technical Design Reviews (BCM, P&ID, HAZOP, client and vendor Meetings).
- Experience assisting project engineering leads and managers in project design and execution according to contract and client needs.
- Interface with other disciplines, with vendors, and provide process engineering input to support activities in design of equipment and layout/structure of systems.
- Recognize problems and discrepancies in work process and requests help when needed.
- Participation in Client meeting, such as BCM, HAZOP, LOPA.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Strong chemical engineering basis.
- Oil & Gas industry experience.
- Knowledge for the industry standards such as : API, Norsok, Shell DEP, etc.
- Good Process engineering knowledge in the package’s design such as: Gas treatment, oil treatment and produced water treatment.
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor or Master level in chemical engineering.
- 5 years of relevant experience in engineering design in O&G or similar industry. (refinery, petroleum related industry, chemical industry).
- Fluent in process design.
- Fluent in process simulation software such as Hysys or similar is in advantage.
- Site experience is an advantage.
