Product Manager - Machine Learning and AI

You? An experienced Product Manager with at least 5 years of experience with a focus on AI, machine learning, and Data Mesh solutions.

Role? Lead the strategic development of Data Mesh and Data Platform products at Schibsted Nordic Marketplaces.

Location? We embrace a hybrid work approach and invite you to join us in our office in Oslo for a few days per week. This allows for collaboration and meaningful connections with our talented team. If you’re not the working from home kind of person, you are of course welcome in our office every day.

WHO ARE YOU?

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering); MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

• Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a strong focus on platform, AI, and machine learning products.

• Deep understanding of Data platform, AI, and ML concepts, algorithms, and tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional AI/ML teams.

WHAT’S THE JOB LIKE?

As a Product Manager for our Data Mesh and Data Platform enablement products, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the product strategy, vision, and roadmap within the context of Data Mesh principles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including AI/ML engineers, data scientists, designers, and marketing, to create and deliver AI and ML solutions that drive innovation and solve complex business problems using a Data Mesh approach.

Key responsibilities:

• Strategic Vision: Develop and communicate product strategy aligning with company goals and Data Mesh principles.

• Roadmap Management: Create and oversee a dynamic product roadmap based on market insights, customer feedback, and industry trends within the Data Mesh framework.

• Market Insights : Continuously analyze AI/ML and Data Mesh trends to drive innovation.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge features in line with Data Mesh principles.

• User-Centric Focus: Champion user-centric design principles to improve user experiences.

• Customer Engagement : Gather insights to enhance AI/ML and Data Platform products.

• Product Launch: Plan and execute successful product launches within the Data Mesh context.

• Enablement Leadership: Lead the adoption of Data Mesh principles and products across the organization.

• Compliance and Security : Ensure regulatory compliance and data security in products.
