Teaching Assistant

About the job

We have a vacancy for a teaching assistant in the Primary Department at BISS Sentrum.
The position is an 86% (term-time only) temporary position until 31st July 2024, and available immediately or by arrangement with the successful candidate.
You will be working as part of a highly motivated and collaborative team, teaching a balanced curriculum that promotes the acquisition of key skills and behaviours through inquiry-based learning.

Qualifications and personal qualities

Full teacher or teacher assistant qualifications for international schools are preferred.
Experience as a teacher or teaching assistant may compensate for missing qualifications.

The succesful candidate will:

• be an excellent and experienced classroom practitioner
• be enthusiastic, open minded and proactive
• be responsible, flexible and team oriented
• have proven skills in building a caring, nurturing and creative learning environment
• have excellent English skills, both written and oral (minimum B2)
• have strong collaborative skills.

Proficiency in French would also be an advantage.
