Looking for a restaurant manager in Voss

Are you passionate about food, beverage and customer satisfaction? The Right Candidate Should Have Solid Experience in Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism, and Leadership.

The Swiss-style hotel is centrally located near the train station in Voss and is known for its venerable atmosphere, magnificent dining hall, and hospitable hosts. The hotel has 110 hotel rooms, 30 apartments, 14 meeting rooms, and conference facilities for up to 300 participants. There are two restaurants, one of which is à la carte, a bar with piano entertainment, a summer terrace, and a winter nightclub. Additionally, the hotel has its own wellness area with a swimming pool.

Responsibilities:

• Total responsibility for the operation of the hotel's restaurants
• Active participation in daily operations Budget and result in responsibility
• Personnel management, contract responsibility, product responsibility, and quality responsibility
• Driving force in emphasizing the restaurant's work as critical to the guest experience
• Supplier follow-up and relationship building with potential partners
• Participation in the strategic management group with associated meetings

Qualifications:

• Professional certification and possibly additional education
• Sommelier training Solid experience in hotel, restaurant, and tourism
• Management experience, including finance, administration, and personnel
• Experience in strategy and change management
• Strong IT skills (experience with the Office suite is a prerequisite)
• Familiarity with the hotel's systems is an advantage (Opera, RMS, Synxis, Planday, etc...)
• Good communication skills and proficiency in English, both oral and written
