Aker Solutions’ Life Cycle segment focuses on execution of modifications & maintenance that improve operations and extends life span of energy facilities on- and offshore. The segment is also responsible for electrification projects on existing facilities as well as offshore maintenance for the renewables sector.

To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions in Stavanger is looking for a Senior Pipe Support Designer who can help us succeed. 


What will you be doing? 

• Pipe Support Designer that can model pipe supports in 3D model (E3D) according to Norsok standards and requirements. 
• Person will be responsible for design and communication with layout and stress department. 
• It is important that the person is knowledgeable and experienced with Brownfield projects. 

We think you should have some of the following:

• Do you have Master, Bachelors, or technical education?
• Design of pipe supports in 3D model (PDMS/E3D) according to Norsok standards. 
• Experience from Oil & Gas industry from north sea projects. 
• Knowledge about critical hydrocarbon system oil/gas. 
• The role holder needs to have an understanding of piping stress calculations, piping support design. 
• The role requires collaboration with other disciplines such as process, Structure, mechanical, instrument, safety and material disciplines. 
• Offshore Course: Valid offshore certificate
• Available for work in Norway
• Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
