Program Manager with Compliance mindset

Overview

Mastercard provides critical services to the Danish and Norwegian community and national payment infrastructure.

Mastercard Payment Services (MPS) is an entity under supervision of the Danish Financial Services Authority and is subject to outsourcing regulation (the Danish Executive Order on Outsourcing) and statutory requirements for IT Security, Technology Risk Management, etc.

We are held to high standards by our clients and are subject to regulations ensuring that our services and operations are resilient and reliable. A central part of the effort to ensure operational robustness is to make sure we continuously operate in compliance with external regulations and requirements, as well as internal standards, policies, and procedures.

We are in the process of transitioning from our legacy infrastructure to a Mastercard infrastructure and related shared services.

The Technical Program Manager Compliance (“TPM Compliance”) role involves coordination and cooperation with affected units, roles, and key stakeholders across MPS as well as in global Mastercard supporting both business as usual for existing customers and projects, as well as the integration to Mastercard infrastructure.

Furthermore the role is “operational”, which implies active participation in audit and compliance related activities in both Denmark and Norway, including governance.

Role

In the role as TPM Compliance you will:

* Support primarily the Engineering organization in preparing and implementing tech policies, procedures and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer contracts, as well as internal standards, policies, procedures, and processes

* Support MPS in implementing standard Mastercard frameworks when transitioning to Mastercard infrastructure

* Observe and follow up on tech compliance and initiate improvements to ensure we maintain procedures and processes and remain compliant to existing and new requirements

* Support collaborative working relationships with stakeholders, including Engineering Leads, Internal Audit, Outsourcing, Regulatory Affairs, Legal and Compliance functions at the local, regional and global level

* Perform and support activities related to processes, reporting and follow up on the supplier part of the Norwegian Transparency Act in cooperation with Legal function in MPS Norway

* Support Outsourcing Officer contributing on implementation and maintenance of Outsourcing policy and procedures across MPS

* Support and guide Product and Engineering in work related to audits and audit findings

* Support cross-functional initiatives to ensure we stay compliant with policies and procedures, in line with internal and external requirements

The role will be both internally facing including collaboration with Product, Engineering, and 2nd line teams, and externally facing towards auditors, authorities, vendors etc. You will be part of a team that enables the organization with program-, project-, test- and compliance management, organized in our Engineering Strategy and Transformation unit in MPS.
