Operations Manager

Vår Energi is seeking an Operations Manager who will be responsible for all operating activities associated with one or more of Vår Energi's operated assets. The Operations Manager will be part of the Operations team and report to VP Operations.

Main tasks

• Overall responsible for safe, sustainable, compliant and efficient operation of one or more Offshore Assets in Vår Energy
• Responsible for development and realizations of plans and budgets
• Controls the operating and capital budget within approved limits
• Manages multidisciplinary activities related to HSSE, maintenance, modification projects, logistics and personnel competencies both onshore and offshore within the department
• Leads the cross functional Asset Team to ensure safe and sustainable operations while maximizing production and minimizing cost
• Maintains daily communication with the offshore installation managers
• Drives Continuous Improvement to strengthen processes and business performance
• Personnel responsibility for subordinates
• Maintains strong collaboration with Main Safety delegate and Unions

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
• Good knowledge of Norwegian regulations pertaining to offshore operations
• Fluent written and oral communication skills in English
