Next year, KONGSBERG is taking a leading role in several upcoming projects within the European Defence Fund. The Fund will increase our technological edge and develop key capabilities for defence and public security.

We are looking for you to join our team in developing the next generation ground infrastructure for data-handling in complex satellite systems. 

Your role in this team will be to:

• Support the development of satellite ground infrastructures for efficient, timely and secure data handling, including data collection, dissemination, storage and retrieval
• Design network architectures for secure satellite data handling and communications, including information sharing based on common standards
• Translate mission requirements into system specifications

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor or masters degree related to information systems
• Experience from systems engineering, software development, data handling and/or telecommunication system
• Technical background from space systems, including ground station technologies is advantageous
• Good communications skills in English, both spoken and written
