Controller

An exciting opportunity has arisen as a Controller in Kongsberg Discovery, a leading developer and supplier of underwater acoustic sensors and smart robotics for marine, research, and naval applications.

We are looking for an individual who is service-minded, flexible, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and possesses a strong drive for accomplishment. As a Controller, you will play an important role in the finance team. This position offers an opportunity for growth and development in the finance and operations domain.

We are located in Horten and are in the process of moving into a new cutting-edge facility, poised to be a centre for advanced manufacturing in Norway.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and close projects in the ERP system
• Develop, modify, and close WBS (Work Breakdown Structures) in the ERP system
• Handle customer invoicing and economic reporting
• Support in preparation of monthly reports
• Coordinate input to cash forecasting
• Support the business in cost controlling and maintain rigorous cost control measures
• Act as a point of contact in the controller group

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
