Senior Project Hydraulic Systems engineer in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team of collaborators, doers, and problem-solvers who are committed to a culture of teamwork and safety.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for design hydraulic, pneumatic control circuits, size hydraulic/pneumatic components and calculate flow and pressure requirements. 
• Participate in the entire project and design cycle including system architecture, requirements derivation, conceptual and detailed design, system performance modeling, analysis, manufacturing and integration support, development testing, qualification, and delivery. 
• Able to define at component level including but not limited to pumps, actuators, mechanisms, valves, manifolds, piping, and sensors. 
• Responsible for the design, testing and delivery of hydraulics and control systems in our equipment. 
• Able to lead or be part of offshore and subsea commissioning and installations.
• Responsible for Project and tender documentation.
• Able to coach, mentor, and technically assist other team members.
• Able to perform Operations and fabrication planning and follow up.
• Resolving ongoing technical issues.
• Supporting projects during the installation of new equipment and ensuring as built documentation is released.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Engineering degree (preferably) 

EXPERIENCE:

• Hydraulic systems experience 
• Preference is to have experience in subsea and offshore environment

SKILLS, TRAINING & SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE:

• Proficiency in 3D CAD programs.
• Proficiency in analysis including hand calculations and Finite Element Analysis. (desirable) 
• Ability to read and interpret very complex electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
• Ability to create and develop complex control system diagrams.
• Familiar with requirements of various oil and gas equipment codes and standards such as API 17 (Subsea) etc.
• Understanding of mechanical/hydraulic systems and electrical systems used in Subsea Systems
• Good knowledge in electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic pumps.
• English language required
• Ability to organize, prioritize and make decisions under time restrictions
