HSEQ Manager Côte d Ivoire

Are you our next HSEQ Manager supporting Altera’s organisation in Côte d’Ivoire? Are you passionate about safety and want to drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of HSEQ programs to comply with requirements for Côte d’Ivoire?

Some of the things you wll be doing

• Drive a proactive HSEQ culture across the vessels and sharing of best practices within the company. Sustainability, Security and Emergency Preparedness are regarded as natural parts of this role
  
• Effective Management of regional HSEQ team including the HSEQ roles offshore to ensure safe operations
  
• Ensure legal compliance with regional legislation
  
• Author of regional policies and procedures
  
• Report on regional HSEQ strategy, proactive activities, performance and trends within the business
  
• Managing reporting and investigation of accidents/incidents to establish the root causes and preventive measures required
  
• Coordinate Process of developing the HSEQ level 2 goals for all local vessels
  
• Be the local focal point for and part of emergency preparedness organization, in close cooperation with the company focal points
  
• Offshore travels to designated units

What we are looking for

• Degree within relevant discipline (Bachelor level or higher)
  
• 10 years of experience within HSEQ and preferably within the oil & gas industry
  
• Committed to highest level of business ethics and integrity
  
• Ability to manage conflict of interest
  
• Strong decision making skills
  
• Able to work independently and interact with all levels of the organisation
  
• Strong communication skills and able to lead with the clients and Authorities
  
• Intermediate French level is an advantage
  
• Advanced English level
