Job description

We are looking for someone with a strong graphic design background who has an eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling. Joining the Marketing & Communications (M&C) team, you will take the lead on managing Hystar’s visual identity and brand. You will work together with the team to tell the Hystar story to the market, as well as ensuring brand consistency both externally and internally.

As a key member of the M&C team, you will be involved in a variety of marketing and communication projects. This may include such things video communication, podcasts, general marketing material, brand initiatives, and so on. You will also take the lead on tools and channels focused on brand identity, such as certain intranet sections, an eventual DAM, and templates.

We are looking for someone who is a talented content creator and not afraid to bring new ideas to the table to help make Hystar really stand out.

Duties and responsibilities

Within your role you will be expected to:

• Manage, coordinate, and organize visual identity channels and initiatives.
• Take the lead on visual content development such as brochures, roll-ups, etc.
• Support and sometimes lead Hystar’s involvement in events.
• Develop and maintain standardized brand templates.
• Support employer branding activities.

Qualifications and requirements

Candidate must have:

• Advanced capabilities within Adobe Creative Suite (or similar) programmes such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Experience with using prototyping tools such as Adobe XD or Figma.
• Higher education in a relevant field of study (proven experience potentially accepted in lieu).
• The ability to work solo or in a team, as well as lead relevant projects.

Ideally (but not a dealbreaker), you:

• Are comfortable in Norwegian.
• Have experience with employer branding initiatives.
• Have experience with a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
• Are experienced in developing Microsoft Office templates (particularly PowerPoint).

Both senior and junior candidates will be considered for the position. Responsibilities and qualification requirements will be adjusted according to experience level, competence, and background.

Our business language is English, and all employees must be comfortable with both writing and speaking English at the office.
