We are now looking for a C++ developer who can help us to continuously improve Volue’s ability to provide value to customers in line with the Volue mission. You will be part of one of the developing teams in Volue Energy.

What you will be doing to make a difference:

• As C++ developer you have a central role in the Mesh development team. Volue Mesh is a data management system based on object modelling with an integrated time series calculation engine. It is used for more efficient managing of time series data and related information used in different work processes . Volue Mesh serves as the core of all future energy production planning and trading solutions.
• You contribute in all development phases such as design, development, build, deployment and test.
• You develop and maintain our C++ codebase, in a Microsoft ecosystem.
• You create and maintain user friendly solutions, with clear APIs, with efficient resource usage and high performance.
• You work in an international environment with English as the spoken and written language, interacting with architects, domain and product experts.
• You work in a distributed team with a flexible work-from-home policy. The Mesh development team is located in Gdansk and Trondheim.

What you need to succeed:

• Genuine interest in programming and ability to learn new things and increase your competence.
• C++ programming experience, and knowledge of modern C++.
• Experience from working in larger codebases.
• Experience working effectively in a distributed team.
• Some knowledge of Python and C#.
• Familiarity with Microsoft platform and tools is beneficial. You will develop in a Microsoft ecosystem.
• Relevant education on a bachelor or master level or with equivalent experience.
