OptoScale has developed an industry-leading computer vision system creating a paradigm shift in aquaculture. Our hardware product, the bioscope, is a stereoscopic underwater camera device with onboard computing and internal light systems. This unit is placed in fish pens to register a wide array of data from thousands of fish each day.

With increasing demand for our technology, we are looking for a driven and proactive Service and Maintenance Technician to strengthen our Production team.

In this role, your workday will have a bit of everything, such as:

• Servicing our bioscope and pen cabinet
• Troubleshooting devices
• Calibration and testing before dispatch
• Shipment and goods
• Continuous improvement with a focus on enhancing quality and refining procedures

We believe the following skills and experience would be a plus:

• Vocational certificate
• Service and maintenance expertise
• Electronics experience
• Strong understanding of assembly tasks
• Competence in precision mechanics, electronics, and some optics
