Exciting position as Tax Advisor in international renewable company

Main purpose of position
Currently we are looking for a Tax Advisor in Oslo, Norway to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our Tax Advisor you will assist in all aspects of direct and indirect tax in the Group.
Main responsibilities
- Assist on International tax (direct and indirect) and tax structuring, both with regards to manage risk and optimize returns for projects in the development stage, but also existing projects
- Assist on advising on optimal funding instruments of project companies and operating companies in order to reduce trapped cash, FX exposure, tax exposure. Assist in tax related matters and funding of operating
- Work in close relationship with the Business Development department on development of projects, including reviewing assumptions in financial models
- Review contracts and assist in drafting contracts that are in line with structuring decisions and ensure tax exposure is reduced
- Assist in tax audits and tax controversy matters and respond to questions from the tax authorities
- Provide technical support/advice and assistance to subsidiaries when required and upon ad-hoc requests
- Assist in tax matters related to financial reporting including review of tax forms provided by local subsidiaries and review tax rates and calculations included for financial reporting
- Assist with internal tax audits
Qualifications and competencies
- Masters degree within finance/law
- 3-5 years of experience from working with international tax matters and structuring, preferably at a Big 4, law firm or in-house position
- Experience with Norwegian tax matters; experience with financial models; tax compliance and reporting; financial reporting and controlling
- Language: fluent both written and spoken in English, other languages is an advantage
