Job Description
Working in Corporate Privacy
The position is located within the Corporate Privacy team in the Corporate Governance, Sustainability and Compliance department. The role will support the Corporate Privacy Officer in ensuring that Statkraft and its subsidiaries comply with applicable data protection legislation (GDPR, LGPD, CCPA, local legislation, etc.).
As an intern in Corporate Privacy, you will assist the Privacy team in:
- Maintaining Statkraft’ 's records of processing activities
- Facilitating and performing privacy impact assessments
- Supporting the organisation with questions, complaints, or requests from data subjects
- Translating data protection law into a business-friendly language
You can also be involved in other tasks within data protection, depending on your interests, qualifications, and our needs. You will work with many different capacities with various competencies in a network of privacy and IT security professionals within the Group.
This is a 40% part-time position that will require office presence for a total duration of 6 months.
Qualifications
We look for a student with the passion and skills to support and assist us in the Corporate Privacy team. That includes:
- Currently enrolled in a Master's programme in relevant field
- Good knowledge of data protection
- Excellent computer skills
- Fluency in English. Knowledge in an additional language is an advantage (e.g., Norwegian, German, Portuguese, Italian, Hindi, Spanish)
- Good communication skills and able to break down complex themes into understandable material
- Willingness to learn and contribute to the team's objectives
Experiences in these areas are also useful in your role:
- First knowledge of cyber security
- Your field of study is either law, ICT and/or risk management
- Being enrolled in LLM programme for ICT law is an advantage
