We are looking for a talented and passionate R&D Engineer who can join our expert team!
Our main product is customized turn-key radio-link systems for challenging environments. Our solutions are built around our PointLink platform, a servo-motor stabilized platform that constantly aims our parabolic antennas at the remote target to enable high bandwidth data traffic over vast distance even when the platform is exposed to constant motion from wind, waves, or vibrations.
For this position, we are looking to expand our existing capacity in electrical design and documentation, using tools such as Zuken E3 CAD, SmarTeam PDM, Jira, and more. You will be actively participating in our R&D team to work with and develop prototypes, carry out design revisions, assist with change introduction and change control in production and more.
Your background education and skills should include one or more areas of electro- or electromechanical, automation, or robotics. Your background would ideally consist of both design and prototyping experience, as well as creating and maintaining production engineering documents, and communicating with and supporting manufacturing partner.
Experience from offshore work on oil-rigs and FPSO’s, work in explosive/hazardous areas, certification for tower climbing and working at height are all big plusses, but not required for consideration.
Due to the nature of the position, it will require daily work at our facilities in Bergen. Flex-time and home-office opportunities will be very limited. Some travel for work may be required (less than 20% estimated per year).

- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in a relevant engineering discipline OR
- Fagbrev as an automation electrician or similar certified trade
Desired (but not required) skills and experiences include:
- Enovia SmarTeam PDM system
- AutoCAD (2D)
