Customer Executive opening – Are you ready to develop our digital futures?
Tietoevry Create is seeking a dynamic and inspiring customer executive to join our team of talents specialized in digital engineering. You will be trained to position and drive sales of the entire Tietoevry Create offering portfolio, but you will specialize (and become best!) within one of the following Practice areas: Cloud & Platform Engineering, Software Development / Engineering, Data & Analytics. Key responsibilities to embark upon in your new role:
- Stay familiar with our offering portfolio, understand/learn about your target market/deals and regularly update your plan for how to optimize your quota-closing success rate
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through various channels, including using our delivery teams’ network, proactive prospecting, networking events, and social media.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective and existing clients.
- Initiate contact with potential customers, schedule meetings, and gather their requirements and concerns.
- Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of our offering and expertise.
- Collaborate with internal teams to customize and adapt products/services to meet customer needs, including leading bid-efforts and contract negotiations.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both the company and the customer, and ensure hand-over to delivery team.
- Proactively handle customer objections and address any complaints to maintain customer satisfaction for customers you have been assigned responsibility for.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to effectively position our offerings in the market.
Key requirements to make you successful (if you don’t tick off all, we can develop your skills too):
- Proven sales experience (3 years+) in quota-carrying role within the Tech/IT/Consulting industry, preferably in selling custom-solutions to solve complex business problems.
- Can demonstrate a track record of meeting/exceeding targets and building successful customer relationships, driven by high level of customer activity/dialogue.
- A solid grip on your preferred area of sales focus (either Cloud & Platform Engineering or, Software Development / Engineering or, Data & Analytics), at least on a conceptual level to be convincing in front of customers in the first meeting(s).
- A good network of customer relations and experience in selling to both IT and business, preferably with strong awareness of how customers’ buying processes typically works.
- Solid familiarity with managing your sales pipeline and good knowledge of sales methodologies/processes and associated system and tools support
- Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills, with the ability to lead, inspire and motivate teams who will work with/for you to delivery sales successes.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with good understanding about how to manage/influence key stakeholders.
- Structured and well organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Higher education at Bachelor level or higher (alternative educational training/experience will be considered)
- Fluency in both written and spoken Norwegian and English languages
