Duties and Responsibilities

You will not just be a cog in a faceless machine! Being part of the Unique X family means that you can innovate, develop your skills and grow with this fast-moving business. Apart from that, you do know what Software Development is.

Take ownership of one of our flagship product architectures.
Be a mentor to other developers in a team.
Participate in backlog refinement sessions and provide valuable feedback to the Product Owner and team.
Coding, coding, coding…
Take part in all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing, Deployment, and Maintenance)
Continuously improve your own and team performance (Retrospectives)

Who we think will be a great fit

We are looking for a talented Java developer with strong programming skills. Ideally, you will have experience in AWS but that isn’t a deal-breaker, if you are analytical and product-oriented, we’d love to hear from you.

Essential Skills

4+ years of Software Development experience.
Proven record of working in decision-making role (E.q Senior Developer, Team Lead, Technical Lead etc)
Java 8/11/17.
Experience working with mainstream Java frameworks (E.q AWS Serverless, Spring, Hibernate, Vaadin/Angular, Docker etc).
Full Stack developer mindset.
Leadership skills.
Fluent in English to communicate with team members.

We are not looking for an exact match between our tech stack and your skillset - you’ll have a chance to learn new tech.

Desirable Skills

Experience with working with AWS Lambda or similar Cloud services is a plus
Basic Terraform, Docker skills
