Circle K eMobility Design is looking for a Senior User Interface Designer to help create the future of our electric vehicle products and services. The Senior UI Designer will be responsible for researching, designing, innovating, and prototyping new user experiences that pave the way for the future within Circle K.

You will collaborate with various internal stakeholders and be a key contributor and originator in your own right. Deliverables include transcripts, prototype testing recordings, research presentations, and follow-up for proper implementation.

Candidates should possess great research skills, creative problem-solving, a great sense of aesthetics, as well as user-centered design principles. Your work will help Circle K (and the world!) transition to sustainable energy.

Key responsibilities:

• Help research and define UI strategy in close collaboration with UX designers

• Conceive of and drive UI design from problem discovery to concept to implementation

• Develop creative and innovative design solutions for desktop and mobile

• Iterate and improve those experiences as needed. Influence team roadmaps to include experience improvements

• Build relationships and trust with stakeholders, peers and working groups, globally.

• Help define UI design standards, guidelines, and consistency by working with other UI designers. Contribute to the Circle K eMobility Design System while working within your product team

You have:

• Higher education in one of the following: Design, Web Design, Interaction Design, UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, or a design portfolio that shows relevant experience

• 4+ years work experience creating excellent experiences for web, app, or other digital devices a plus

• An excellent portfolio showcasing UI/UX. Evidence of exceptional visual design ability is a must. For experienced candidates, a portfolio presentation during your first interview will suffice in place of a link to your portfolio.

• Must be highly skilled in Figma (including prototyping) or willing to rapidly transition

• Experience with Protopie or other advanced prototyping tools a big plus

• Experience with After Effects and Lottie a plus

• Understanding of the constraints of responsive web design a big plus

• Experience working with design systems is a big plus

• Experience using design research methods to discover problems and opportunities a plus

• Ability to define a user interface vision and inspire others to execute against that vision

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English. Norwegian not mandatory

• Self-motivated, able to work independently but also collaborative with other stakeholders
