System Developer Radio

Key task and responsibilities as a Firmware Engineer
In this role you will be part of a team that develops and maintains firmware and software for AutoStore radio system. Tasks involve researching radio related challenges, writing and implementing efficient code, testing and modifying systems to ensure that they operate reliably.

This year the team will be start develop a new radio hardware platform. A great opportunity to use your experience and knowledge within:

• Embedder radio technologies 802.15.4, WI-FI, Bluetooth Low Energy
• C and C++, Python
• Continues integration
• Radio firmware for access point and robot radios
• Radio related software
• Low level radio management like: Channel management, handling of interference, retransmit
• Customer support related to radio

Key experience and background for this role
Bachelor or master degree in computer science, electronics, physics or other similar education or background.
For this role having experience with firmware development for embedded system is important as well as knowledge and work experience in C and C++, Python. Experience with wireless communication is a benefit.
