GUI Programmer

"The Secret World" project is looking for an experienced GUI Programmer.   The main duties will include participating in discussions about user interface designs, implementing the CPP/Actionscript code to support the Flash GUI, convert user interface modules from our GUI toolkit to Scaleform, support user interfaces that will not be moved to Scaleform.

Qualifications:

• Degree in computer science (or similar)
• 2 years professional experience as a GUI C++ Programmer
• Experience with C++/Actionscript programming
• To have a service minded attitude
• Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio 7
• Shown confidence and capability of working as part of a team
• Ability to work closely with other professions (like designers and graphic artists)

Preferable knowledge:

• Experice with game user interfaces and/or RPG systems
• Excellent knowledge of Scaleform
• Good knowledge of Flash

Common for all positions, you need:

• to have good written and oral communication skills
• to have a passion for games
• to relocate to Oslo
• to have good English written and oral skills
• to be able to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure
• to be a team player who can work closely not only with designer but all the professions in the team
• to be able to work independently and to be self-directing
