The Role
The site experience manager is responsible for delivering a seamless experience to Helly Hansen, customers throughout their digital journey. This role will partner with the eCommerce and digital team to improve the customer journey, reduce friction and uncover opportunities to improve conversion rate and other KPIs.
As the site experience manager you will be tasked with testing and optimizing the online user journeys defining what tools and processes Helly Hansen needs to implement to compete with best practice within the area.
It is required that the person is “hands-on” and has experience with deploying and using tools to monitor and test user behaviour and manage the user experience and design across digital touchpoints.
- Test and implement necessary changes to match our strategy and best practices
- Run and develop the roadmap for site experience
- Explore innovative approaches and trends to deliver on-brand, seamless solutions for new and existing digital experiences
- Partner with marketing, social and creative teams to optimize and enrich site and campaign content
- Use data and insights to drive key digital initiatives, optimizing ecommerce KPIs and creating a better customer experience through the purchase funnel
- Ensure quality of research and make sure site experience is based on data and brand experience
- Ensure that we have the tools necessary to collect data, measure and run tests to continuously optimize site performance
Key responsibilities
- Advocate on behalf of the customer’s needs during project scoping, providing data driven UX perspective on digital initiatives and content development
- Manage the A/B testing roadmap, delivering winning, data-driven A/B tests, including landing pages and redesigned processes
- Drive, test and develop components of the Helly Hansen digital design system and ensure features are deployed properly across digital touchpoints including content rich pages, commerce processes, and account flows
- Utilize data, tools and technologies to examine how visitors and prospects are using the site, identify the frictions they face and propose solutions for how to overcome these issues to enable conversions
- Translate business requirements into concepts and features and assist in prioritizing enhancements within development backlog
- Collaborate with digital marketing to optimize full shopping flow from discovery to purchase, monitoring and closing gaps where necessary
- Investigate KPI anomalies and site experience issues in partnership with digital team and development vendors, ensuring site performance remain stable
- Assist in managing quality of executions and perform quality assurance tests on delivered solutions
What we are looking for
- Passion for the outdoors, skiing, and/or sailing
- Minimum 2 years of e-commerce experience/site experience
- Demonstrated success in leadership
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in retail, strategy, operations, or related field
- Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory. Skills in Norwegian, Swedish, German, French, Italian, and/or Spanish are a strong bonus.

This position is a full-time employment at our Oslo Headquarters, but working remote from time to time can be agreed.
