Senior Scientist Radiopharmaceuticals
Nordic Nanovector is looking for an experienced Senior Scientist to strengthen the company’s dedicated and highly experienced R&D department.
You will have responsibility for the development of new radiopharmaceuticals for treatment of solid tumors. The ideal candidate enjoys challenging work within a fast-paced environment and will be inspired and motivated by the mission of Nordic Nanovector to bring safe and effective new therapies to patients.
You are an enthusiastic self-starter with first-rate problem-solving skills, coupled with tenacity and attention to detail. You take a creative, proactive and goal-oriented approach to your work with a deep curiosity and enthusiasm for uncovering new radiopharmaceuticals therapies.
Your key responsibilities:
- Support the Chief Science Officer in defining and designing the research programs in the solid tumor radiopharmaceuticals field.
- Maintain clear and accurate records.
- Interpret data, recognize aberrant results, and propose explanations and next steps.
- Lead the implementation of the research programs.
- Apply for governmental funding for the research programs.
- Summarize data for reports, papers and presentations.
- Present results from the research programs at international conferences.
What you’ll need:
Education, Certifications and Experiences:
- PhD and post doc or similar experience in cancer research, preferably related to drug development.
- R&D experience from the biotech industry.
- Experience in preclinical testing of drugs including animal research.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good understanding of development of radiopharmaceuticals, radiation biology, oncology and nuclear medicine.
- Excellent record keeping and a very high standard of data integrity.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality, consistent results in a timely fashion.
- Ability to solve complex problems and work effectively in a team.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills that can reach audiences of different skill levels.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.
Location:
The position is based at the company's headquarters in Oslo, Norway. Flexibility to travel internationally is required.
