Air Freight Forwarder
We are expanding, and we are looking for an Air Freight Forwarder to join our team.
Job description:
- Planning, execution and follow up of national and international air transport assignments (import/export).
- Pricing of single assignments
- Handling of required import/Export documentation
- Communication with clients, airlines, subcontractors and our global network partners
- Registration of orders, invoicing and handling of vendor invoices in CargoWise
- Handling of billing / settlement of accounts through Cargo Account Settlement Systems (CASS) / CASSlink
- Customs clearance
- Strategic, long term follow up of customers and airlines
- Participate and contribute to bid processes
Qualifications:
- Substantial experience from airfreight operations
- Experience from air chartering
- MSc/BSc degree within logistics & supply chain.
- Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education
Personal skills:
- Result oriented and service minded and willing to go the extra mile for our customers
- Good negotiation skills
- Systematical and have good order
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Good verbal and written communication skills, Norwegian and English
- Extensive computer skills (Experience from CargoWise would be an advantage)

In order to extend the service offered to the Domestic- and International Project market, Peak Group and deugro group have established a project freight forwarding unit – K2 Project Forwarding. K2 is jointly owned by Peak Group and deugro group. Both known players in the national and global project freight forwarding industry. K2 will act as an independent project freight forwarder, using both external partners and internal resources within the Peak Group and deugro group. This will give K2 the ability to serve its clients with a full scale of project freight forwarding services globally. K2 consists of highly experienced personnel with a long personal track record from projects national and globally.
