System Manager (Storefront)

Varner Tech consists of 5 product areas: Customer, Sales, Finance & HR, Product and Supply Chain. In addition, we have cross-functional teams for Data Platform & Analytics and On-premises and Cloud platforms. We are now looking for a Technical Specialist to join our Storefront team!
The Storefront team is a part of the Tech Sales product team which covers sales across all channels, brands, and digital retail. The Storefront team will explore, develop, and manage the technical side of customer front of Varners websites including personalized search and product presentations and recommendations, A/B-testing of new and changed functionality.
The Storefront team also drives the technical development and operations of physical store technology such as visitor counting and other sensor technology, screens for customer information, interaction, and endless aisles merging the physical store with product presentation from the webshop. A major technology uplift joining the forces of the web and physical stores technology is underway and we want you to join us on this journey!
As a System Manager Storefront in Varners Tech Sales Product team, you will take an active part in delivering prioritized features and guiding the work towards the product vision and roadmap. You will cooperate with architects, other systems managers, and product owners in Tech Sales. You will cooperate closely with both business and tech colleagues to participate in technical testing and functional testing with the business prior to product launches.
This is an operative role, in which you will manage and support existing COTS-, integrations-, and inhouse-developed solutions.
The position reports to the Tech Sales Team Manager.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be to:
Be the go-to person for the processes and systems within online Storefront technology; Google optimize, A/B testing, EPiServer CMS (or other CMS tools) and tracking technology.
Manage and operate Apptus portfolio for personalized search and product presentation online.
Be the go-to person for the processes and systems within physical Storefront technology; sensors and visitor counting, presentation of products and offerings through screens, and other technology that will emerge and be implemented the coming years.
Responsible for the operation, smaller and larger improvements and daily maintenance of the systems and applications within Storefront domain.
Testing and rolling out new functionality in cooperation with the business experts.
Continuous development and maintenance of system and process documentation.
Participate in developing a roadmap for your system portfolio which would include minor and major upgrades, maintenance windows and decision points for renewals, strategy discussions.
Participate in cross-functional projects and other major initiatives.
Work closely with other Product Owners on initiatives and projects.
Participate in the management of suppliers and contractors involved in system and service deliveries.
We are looking for someone who has skills or interest in these areas:
Expert level knowledge within CMS solutions, A/B testing, and personalized search and product presentation solutions.
Working knowledge of in-store technology, but a keen interest to develop skills within this area will take you a long way.
Understand and have relevant experience working in an omni environment, bridging solutions seamlessly between the physical and the Ecom shopping experience will be favorable, but a strong interest in developing within this field is also interesting.
Understanding of integrations, data quality and data flow in a complex environment will be favorable.
Higher education, preferably in technology, relevant training and/or extensive relevant experience will also be considered
