Premier Field Engineering (PFE) consistently delivers onsite and dedicated services for Premier customers around the world. PFE was established in partnership with Enterprise Services to strengthen the Microsoft Services field engineering capability worldwide.

PFE Delivers
- Onsite proactive and reactive, dedicated and designated services to Premier customers and MSPA Partners around the globe.
- Services in both a transactional model through Rapid Onsite Support and in a contractual model with Dedicated and Designated Support.
PFE delivers value to customers through services targeted at Productive Use and Adoption of Microsoft technologies within the IT life cycle phases of Operate and Optimize.
Proactive Services
- Delivering specialized preventative services such as technology Health Checks and Client Workshops.
- Develop and implement strategies for providing proactive support resulting in fewer incidents, increased availability, or accelerated deployments
- Deliver timely and high quality environmental best practices to the customer, moving the customer from a reactive to a proactive stature
We need individuals that possess deep technical expertise in at least one technical specialty. That can solve complex technical problems through sound, creative troubleshooting. You will also need to be able to examine possible workarounds and escalations as required.
Recommended qualifications include
- Able to demonstrate relevant level of experience in the enterprise customer arena
- Face-to-face customer engagement skills
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
- Awareness of corporate environments and their business requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal management supervision
- Troubleshooting and problem solving skills/knowledge
- Migration projects involvement
- MCSE: Messaging qualification
- ITIL/Service Management experience
Technical Requirements
Must possess superior knowledge and has demonstrated technical proficiency in Microsoft Exchange. Areas of knowledge and proficiency should include, but are not limited to, routing/transport, storage capacity planning, design/architecture and performance troubleshooting (Microsoft Exchange perspective), clustered deployments, disaster recovery, migration, mobile messaging, and topology design with troubleshooting of these areas at the expert level within large network environments. Candidate must have solid understanding of client/server, networking, other Messaging applications (IIS, Outlook, Outlook Express, IE, ActiveSync/Windows Mobile Client technology) and Internet technologies fundamentals (I.E. certificates, SSL, VPN, UCE...etc). In addition, the successful candidate must possess excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, SMTP, RPC and other protocols including use of troubleshooting tools - scripting, resource kit diagnostic tools, packet sniffers and\or Netmon.
The position will require travel.
