Experis is looking to hire a Design Engineer.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Responsible for mechanical design accordance with project scope of work, schedule and budget
• For preparation of documents and drawings within the assigned project(s) in accordance with plan, engineering practice and demand for quality, cost efficiency and timely performance of the work.
• Responsible for engineering progress and reporting
• Review and approval of mechanical design documentation
• For follow up of fabrication and machining activities within the assigned project(s)
• For ensuring compliance with customer requirements, government regulations and requirements set within the assigned project(s).
• Perform engineering and design work in the project proactively, in accordance with company policies, procedures and Business Management System.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Recommended Formal Education - Vocational school with minimum 6 years of experience/BSc with minimum 4 years experience/MSc/PhD with minimum 2 years experience
• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Vault Professional and AutoCAD
• Experienced with creating technical drawings for machining/Welding/fabrication
• Experienced with dimensional tolerancing as described in ISO 8015 and/or ASME Y14.5M
