Electrical Designer with experience with Cadett ELSA CAD Tool

Job description:

• Shall always have detailed knowledge of relevant procedures and processes for engineering
• Perform electrical design work for projects according to defined project scope
• Check and review engineering documents
• Accountable for budget hours related to engineering performance of the above
• Perform the work proactively, in accordance with policies and procedures, and to achieve product quality, functions and design life as specified or implied by Contract documents and specifications
• Give input to E-plan within El. Design scope
• Arrange reviews of documentation
• Responsible for establish and follow up action lists
• Capability and understanding in use of product configuration tools used by the Team
• Part of the responsibility includes challenging and continuously improving existing routines and work processes to secure continuous improvement in the Team’s routines
• The Electrical Designer may be given other tasks than described in this document
• Super user role for Cadett Elsa Drawing Tool:
• Support for the Cadett Elsa CAD tool users in the team
• Cadett Elsa SW operation, installation and updates in cooperation with the IT department
• Cadett Elsa symbol database operation and maintenance

Qualifications:

• Graduate engineer, Bachelor or Master degree, or engineer with relevant experience
• Must have experience with Cadett ELSA CAD Tool
• Capable of working in teams
• Capable of supporting in technical review meetings
• Capable of doing Electrical Designer engineering with support
• Capable of producing standard technical Electrical Designer documents
• Ability to work systematically and independently in a hectic environment
• Good oral and written presentation skills in English
• Engineering experience
• Good product knowledge
• Good understanding of the project- and production processes
• Have good knowledge about workmanship of related disciplines to enable correct actions
• Awareness of Business Management System for own tasks
• Awareness of internal engineering guidelines for own tasks
• Awareness of relevant codes and standards
• Cadett ELSA CAD Tool
• TCE - Create and Review
