HSSEQ Manager - Quality & Assurance

Are you our new Quality & Assurance Manager?

The Quality & Assurance team provide functional support for Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC), for reducing quality cost, and for maintaining the 3 lines of defence to prevent unwanted events. The Quality & Assurance team work closely with the central lean deployment team on quality cost, and the business units on quality assurance activities to uphold the three lines of defence. The HSSEQ Manager - Quality & Assurance work closely with the Technical Authority for Quality within the Quality & Assurance team and will report to VP HSSEQ - Disciplines.

The main responsibilities of the Department Manager are to lead the team resources, to manage the Q&A services, and the Q&A stakeholders. 

The goal is to increase the efficiency of Aker BP business processes and reduce cost of poor quality.

Responsibility and tasks

• Team management, development and administration
• Service management
• Stakeholder mapping and management 
• Identify internal customer QA/QC support needs, and develop appropriate support services and competent resources
• Cooperate with Technical Authority for Quality to develop and implement the framework for Quality Assurance and Quality Control 

Qualitifications

• University degree, minimum bachelor, preferably in Business Management or Engineering
• Formal training within preferably Quality, Project management, Risk management, Business management or similar
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience in Quality Management – e.g. process analysis and improvements, audits, verifications, investigations, Supplier and Contract follow-up
• Experience with Team management, incl. management of multidisciplinary teams and coordination across teams
• Experience with Agile and lean ways of working
• Significant Stakeholder management coordination 
• Experience and able to show successes from change management and implementations
• Experience in building/improving quality management system
• Fluent in both Norwegian and English
• Very good understanding of Oil & Gas Operations and Projects

The position is based in Stavanger. Must be willing to travel occasionally.
