Power Electronics R&D Engineer
We are strengthening our high-power converter R&D team, offering you a good opportunity to help us expand our technical skills and become a world-class global design team. With successful performance, you will have further possibilities within our company to grow your career. In this position, you will work as a part of global project team. You will communicate daily in both verbal and written English. We expect you to have an open mind and the willingness to learn. This position is located either in our Trondheim office in Norway, or in Vaasa or Helsinki office in Finland.
Responsibilities and requirements
- We expect you to have a relevant technical degree, preferably an MSc in power electronics
- Knowledge of power electronics components
- Knowledge of power electronics cooling methods and mechanical constructions
- Simulation experience & knowledge of simulation tools as asset
- Experience from high power inverter design & productization
- Application knowledge from marine or industry would be an asset
- Good communication skills in English and Norwegian is an advantage
