Product Project Planner

For one of our clients we are searching for a Product Project Planner

Job Description:

• Good Product Project Planning is a key aspect to be able to perform excellent project execution. To fulfil our obligations, we now need to expand our group to cover new projects.
• As a Product Project Planner, you will be part of a work package belonging to a project. Through proper planning you will influence the projects performance through sequencing, prioritizations and mitigations, on a daily basis.
• You will be working closely with the package project manager & lead engineer together with the rest of the colleagues supporting the work package. You will have the overall responsibility to create and maintain and eventually close out product project schedules.
• A product project planner will be working mostly in Primavera (P6), but also need to be skilled using various SAP transactions and the standard Microsoft Office applications
• The Product Project Planner has authority to act on behalf of the Product Project Manager in all areas of product project planning, internal to the company
• Consolidates and analyses information from Project Planner, Project Engineering, Product Engineering, Purchasing and Manufacturing/Sub-Suppliers, to establish the Product Project Schedule for assigned project need dates, in accordance with company standard planning methods
• Ensure that Product Project Schedules are updated on a regular basis based on input from supply chain, engineering, manufacturing constraints, and changing project requirements.
• Prepare internal Work Package/Product Line reports
• Analyze the plan/schedule and initiate mitigation actions when needed
• Review and participate in preparation of Variation Order Requests and implement accepted Variation Orders with regards to schedule.
• Ensures that the product status is effectively communicated to the Product Project Manager, Project Planner and other relevant stakeholders.
• Participates and gives input to project schedule for Tender purposes.
• Based on the plan, support Engineering establish and update dates in MDR
• Coordinate planning including clients and subcontractors

Qualifications:

• Motivated, self-going & great team player with cooperative mindset
• Good communication skills written and verbal in English
• Understanding of project management essentials
• Capable of leading meetings regarding schedule
• Technical and / or commercial education BSc, similar or higher education is preferable, relevant experience may compensate
• Good knowledge with primavera is preferable
• Good skills in Excel, Microsoft Project and PowerPoint
