Cost Controller Business Unit Aibel

Aibel is a leading service company within the upstream oil & gas and offshore wind industries. We provide our clients with optimal and innovative solutions within engineering, construction, modifications and maintenance throughout the entire life cycle.

Aibel's skilled employees are located close to our customers at the company's eight offices in Norway and South East Asia. In addition, we operate two modern yards in Haugesund (Norway) and Laem Chabang (Thailand) with complete prefabrication and construction capabilities.

Your responsibilities:
  The position consist of two main areas and give you a broad contact net within the company. You will have a central position in the Business Unit    1. Cost controller for the Consept & Study group;   Project controller for Studies and Feeds and follow up of the resources belonging to this Study group including tasks such as:  

• Follow up of costs, revenue and contracts
• Run projects from award to completion in SAP
• Control of invoices, travel claims and manhours
• Book-keeping                
• Train and follow up management team
• Reporting and forecasting

2. Controller for Business Unit Field Development & Offshore Wind where main tasks are reporting, forecasting :  

• Prepare the reporting every month, securing result every quarter and budgets
• Book keeping
• Control actual figures from projects and entities on a running basis including the manhour entries (time management)
• Identify and run improvement projects, run training sessions in the organization and in general secure good quality in all figures and deliveries
• Adhoc tasks are common and makes the days interesting

  Education and work experience:

• Bachelor or other relevant education within finance/business administration  
• Some years of experience is preferred, but newly qualified candidates will also be considered 
• Experience with SAP is an advantage
• Excellent skills within Excel
